Little Ones Exploring Flowers and Greens

Some of our left over blooms got a second life thanks to my sister-in-law Jennie and her preschool class of 3 ½ year olds. The fun activity was a sensory exploration on a light table. Jennie noted that “they tore them apart, smelled the petals and felt them on their skin. They explored the inside and outside and inside of each flower.” I hear that the hydrangeas were the hit of the day!

I’ve got to get a light table!
