Vanessa & Evan’s Wedding at iCi Restaurant in Brooklyn

This weekend I had the pleasure of working on Vanessa and Evan’s wedding at iCi Restaurant in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

The couple contacted me several months ago, and I immediately loved their vision. Playing off of iCi’s decor and light-and-airy look, we came up with a look that channeled a little bit “romantic”, a bit “vintage” and a lot of “bohemian chic”. Playing off of this general styling, I spent the spring and summer months trekking around flea markets and vintage shops, and keeping an eye out for great vases, chalices and brass boxes.

These brassy containers, coupled with lots of candles, light green table runners and flowers in a romantic soft color palette, all came together perfectly.

The ceremony was held outdoors on the iCi patio, which we decorated with a branchy wedding arch draped with greens and candles.

Vanessa and Evan were absolutely lovely to work with, and I can’t wait to the the professional pics our talented photographer friend Cozbi Jean!
